11. GIRL WITH SWORD:
Please scroll down for description and statement
The girl, an oriental, wearing a white dress, sits in a room with rainbow-patterned stained-glass windows. She holds loosely in her lap a sword. Her black hair is cut short and she could be taken for a boy. Standing on the floor in front of her are two white ravens. In one of the stained-glass windows is the pattern of a raven in flight, done in blue glass.
Here is serenity and readiness. The girl has become disciplined and to some extent purified. She has found the masculine part of herself and has made it part of her being.
The raven is the bird of death; perhaps she has made her peace with death. Or perhaps she is keeping these birds at bay. [SOLD]
