33. MANDALA OF LIFE:ENDINGS. BEGINNINGSPlease scroll down for description and statement |
The girl, dressed in purple, stands before a clothesline. She has put up a large mandala that is composed of sun, moon, seed and plant images--symbols of the wholeness of life. She is now in the process of sharing the start of a new mandala, consisting of sun/moon imagery alone--symbolic of the beginning of all life.
Every beginning contains the seed of its ending; every ending clears the way for a new start. Looking at it this way, there is no such thing as an ending; nor, for that matter, is there any such thing as a beginning.
We have invented the concepts of time, beginnings, and endings to help us cope with a linear existence dictated by our limited human perceptions.
